Shiva Star creates "compact toroids" of high-density comedy that are ejected from the device using a massive improv pulse. A shot has the energy of five pounds of TNT exploding; although it causes little or no physical damage, the energy showers the interior of the target with high-energy X-rays that potentially destroy all sadness inside.

Each player embodies Shiva, the god of destruction and transformation. Each one does his part in destroying the targeted improv fusion toroids and transforming them into something new and meaningful.
