Steve James Baerwald

Hometown: Oxbow, SK

Steve grew up in the wheat fields of Oxbow, Saskatchewan which had a population of 1300 (currently 1500). Being a lonely prairie boy Steve made his way to Ontario by quitting a $22 an hour job in Red Deer, Alberta which had a population of 87,000 (currently 90,000), to roadie for a metal band called Georgian Skull.

After he roadied for said metal band Steve started learning improv in the summer of 2008, which has since turned into a healthy obsession. He now spends his time hosting a radio show called The Great Northern Trendkill every Sunday 3-5pm EST on www.indielove.ca, acting as head volunteer for The Ghostjail Theatre Co., and performing with the ITC Incubator Team WOLF APOCALYPSE.

He also created, produced, and performed live music for the improv bluesical The Stoned Pony Blues Show. Dig It.
