Steve Hobbs
Hometown: Markham, ON
Steve has trained relentlessly with the Impatient Theatre Co. over the years, kicking down classroom doors and taking names. Over the course of his training, he studied long form techniques at lengths with Kevin Patrick Robbins, Allison Hogg, and Sean Magee. He's also studied under IO Chicago's Jeff Griggs, and IO West's Doug Sarine, as part of the Dirty South Improv Festival 2008.
His longform training started at age 16 under Second City TourCo performer Rob Norman, who force-read him Del Close's Truth in Comedy and occupied his Saturday nights. Since then, he's enjoyed playing and competing in a variety of shows ("The Stoned Pony Blues show" @ Bread n' Circus, "The Pud", PROJECTproject's "The Kid is Hot Tonight"), and within the ITC spent years playing on the now-retired harold team "The Little American Bastards".
Most recently, he's been a featured monologist for the ITC's armando-style sensation Munchausen, and loved teaching ITC 201 Class "Game and the Scene" in early 2009.
Steve currently plays with harold team "The Nakatomi Protocol".

So Wayne followed and a road it did become.
Kevin Patrick Robbins: Kevin is the founder and artistic director of the Impatient Theatre Co. and the developer of the ITC Training Centre's core curriculum. He has been a featured instructor at the Chicago Improv Festival and is a lead instructor at the annual North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival.
