Maria Pelufo

Maria is loving her training at the Impatient Theatre (currently registered for 301), and her great teachers Annie Bankes (101 and 201), and Matt Folliott. She also attended a development workshop with Aaron Merke; a Vaudeville workshop with Dave McKay and Jeff Krahn; Bill Arnett's Scene Work Assault Workshop, and was part of the legendary "People and Places" student team with Coach Nicole Wilson.

Previously, in Montevideo, Uruguay where she grew up, she had trained in Psychodrama as part of her psychotherapist training (she holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Strathclyde, and was a clinical psychologist in Uruguay), and in Gestalt, and included drama in her work. Additionally she trained in Classical Theatre with Lidia Etchemendy, and was a stand-up comedian at her University.
