Lex's career in performance began at the age of 9 as a chorus member in "The Nutcracker". Since then, he has been in various chorus, supporting and lead roles over the years, even playing (yes...) the "Asian Son of Lex Luthor" in the play "Asian Son of Superman". Studying at Humber College's Vocal Music Program and graduating from the Drama Program at U of T at Scarborugh, Lex has continually kept himself busy. Oddly enough, even though he is a Catholic, he relished the fact that he got a lead role of "Satan" in "The Passion", a hip hop dance drama chronicling the death and Resurrection of Jesus, which was performed at the Ricoh Coliseum for 4500 high school students.
Other than drama/improv, Lex is also a talented musician, who holds his own on the piano, the guitar, the bass, and drums. The biggest crowd he played for and arranged music for was in World Youth Days 2002, at the Exhibition and at Downsview Park, playing for over 1,000,000 people live over the week, and many more around the world. Of course, one of the many in the audience was none other than the late Pope John Paul II. Lex was also host of his own live music webshow, "Freedstyle Fridays" at Missisauga's MStudio.
Currently, Lex is a TTC Subway Musician for the 2011-2012 season, and was the front page story on December 2, 2011 issue of the Catholic Register.
Lex is excited and thankful for the opportunity to learn, practice and perform longform improv, which he has longed to study for years. He hopes to learn everything he can and be able to wow audiences in a way he's never done before.
