Laura Bailey

Laura Bailey is someone who you can believe is an improviser.

She is a graduate of the and the Second City Conservatory, where she studied with Steve Morel, Frank McAnulty, and Chris Earle. She has completed the Impatient Theatre Company's longform improv program, where she studied with Paloma Nunez, Kevin Patrick Robbins, Sean Magee, Alex Tindal, and Sean Tabares, as well as Zac Ward and Jill Bernhard. Laura has also completed the Second City Training Centre's shortform improv program, where she studied with Brian Smith, Kerry Griffin, Albert Howell, Dave Pearce, and Ayumi Ilzuka. Laura also studied Harold at the Bad Dog Theatre with Carmine Lucarelli, and musical improv with Daryll Pring.

Laura performs real live improv with ITC on Harold team Nakatomi Protocol, and in many a Cage Match. She also performs with the Bad Dog Theatre as part of the rotating casts of Macro Neato and The Happening. Career highlights have included performing with the Second City main stage cast and PROJECTproject, including competing in The Kid is Hot Tonight improv tournament. Laura caught the comedy bug writing for the Trinity College Literary Institute, which included producing their annual sketch comedy show The Lit Revue.

In her spare time, Laura has a full-time job with the City of Toronto. Her hobbies include manslaughter and finding new vegetables.
