IMPROV 101: Introduction to Improvisation

This course is packed with goodies for new and experienced improvisers alike. No matter your level of experience, this is where you want to start your improv training at ITC.

There's nothing to be afraid of here. Improv is natural. We do it all day, every day. As the course builds, so will your comfort and confidence. You will be introduced to such amazing improv concepts as: "active listening," "creating characters," and "how to create and move imaginary objects through space." We know, right? Who wouldn't want to do this?

All improv students, regardless of previous experience or training, begin with this course.

Jimi Shlag

Jimi is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. While there, he performed in some Off-Broadway shows including one with the Tony-award winning Willow Cabin Theatre. In Canada, he has played in Regina at the Globe Theatre, the Summerworks and the Fringe.
