Class Dates and Times
Instructor: Jimi Shlag
Jimi is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. While there, he performed in some Off-Broadway shows including one with the Tony-award winning Willow Cabin Theatre. In Canada, he has played in Regina at the Globe Theatre, the Summerworks and the Fringe.
At Impatient Theatre Company he has studied with resident teachers, Annie Bankes, Sean Tabares and Kevin Patrick Robbins. In addition, he has studied with other notable pros like TJ and Dave, Zach Ward, Bill Arnett, Jill Bernard, Andy Eninger and Ari Voukydis.
His growth as an improviser has no doubt been effected tremendously by the coaches he has worked with while on ITC teams, and those people are: Tom Vest, Rob Norman, Kevin Whalen, Julie Dumais and Alana Johnston.
Finally, Jimi has appeared in numerous radio and television commercials and most recently in an episode of CTV's teevee program The Listener.
He will be hitting the stage in late 2010/early 2011 in a new production to be announced at The Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.
